Prophix Live! ’25 London: A day in tune with finance’s next rhythm
Finance leaders in London explored the next rhythm of autonomous finance with Prophix One.
ottobre 21, 2025Inside Covent Garden’s Middle Eight Hotel, named for the musical bridge that gives a song its shift in rhythm, Prophix Live! ’25 London struck a new chord. Finance leaders, partners, and Phixers gathered for a day that connected 30+ years of Prophix heritage with the faster rhythm of Prophix One and an autonomous future built on trusted AI.
Hosted by James Hanson, Regional VP, EMEA, the room leaned into that theme from the start: familiar processes like reporting, consolidation, and planning are keeping their melody, but the beat is changing. Faster. Smarter. More confident.
The future of autonomous finance continues
Prophix President and CEO, Alok Ajmera, set the tone with an interactive keynote on where AI is heading and what finance teams can do now.
He drew a simple line through today’s tools:
- Copilot: ask a question, get an answer
- Agentic: give a task, get execution with memory and reasoning
- Autonomous: work is identified and executed without manual hand-offs
Much of finance is still heavy on manual effort. If teams can reclaim that time, they can direct it toward decisions that grow revenue or improve margins. Alok asked the room to imagine exceptions surfaced in real time, scenarios built instantly, and routine steps moving forward without waiting on the next person in the chain.
As Alok put it, the risk isn’t AI taking your job. It’s someone using AI to do your job better.
Three moves to start now:
- Build a test-and-learn culture
- Identify AI champions inside your team
- Make data your foundation
He closed by previewing Prophix One agents that offload tactical work inside budgeting, reporting, and analysis, setting up the handoff to CTO Anurag Yagnik.

A look at Prophix One Intelligence: the key to smarter, faster finance processes
Chief Technology Officer, Anurag Yagnik, took the audience behind the scenes of the platform and showed how Prophix One Intelligence works inside Prophix One to deliver productivity now and pave the path to autonomy.
A few highlights from the session:
- Built for trust from the ground up
Prophix One Intelligence uses a “tools-and-tasks” approach. Large language models don’t roam your data. They call application APIs that respect each user’s permissions. With AWS Bedrock as the foundation, prompts and parameters stay within the private cloud. Privacy, security, and accuracy drive every design choice. - Zero setup for Copilot
Prophix Copilot is available across the platform, so you can ask for a complex income statement, compare versions across entities, create a chart, or push that view into ad hoc analysis without leaving the flow. - Agents that do real work
Anurag showed how the new Reporting Agent and Budgeting Agent can draft reports, update plan lines, spread changes, and confirm updates in real time. The same actions can run in Microsoft Teams for people who live in chat during the day. - Real-time results with reliable accuracy
Because agents call live APIs with your security model, numbers reflect current data and responses stay focused on the context you intended.
The message was clear: start with Copilot for questions and insights, add Prophix One Agents for tasks, and build toward autonomy at the pace that fits your controls.

An independent view from Europe: Dr. Carsten Bange, Founder & CEO of BARC
Dr. Carsten Bange brought a research lens to the room with data from BARC’s annual global CPM study. His takeaways mapped closely to what London attendees are tackling now:
- Self-service and ease of use are firmly in place across many teams
- Predictive planning and forecasting are high on the to-do list
- Integrated planning and consolidation remain core priorities
- Scenario and driver-based planning matter more as uncertainty persists
- Modern, cloud-first platforms are the standard for new investments
His perspective underscored the regional focus in London: autonomy must sit on a strong data foundation, and the biggest wins come when planning, reporting, and consolidation live together.
